Professor at IIT Kanpur & Founder Geokno India Pvt. Ltd. With 25+ years of experience in research and teaching in GIS domain. He works in high resolution remote sensing- mainly Laser Scanning (LiDAR) and Photogrammetry. He works in all three domains of these technologies, viz., airborne, mobile and terrestrial. He focuses on developing data capture and data processing technologies (hardware and software) and developing innovative applications using these and allied technologies. Since last one decade he has been promoting Geokno India Pvt. Ltd., which he co-founded in IIT Kanpur for providing LiDAR based solutions to government and industry in India. Geokno today is Leader in LiDAR technology in INDIA.

Founder of Geokno India Private Limited, an IIT Kanpur spinoff ten years back, and now is the market leader in LiDAR technology in India. Geokno won the best start-up award from ISBA (Indian Step Business Association) in 2011 and Geospatial World Excellence Award for the year 2017. He has worked with NITI Aayog team in setting the vision and road map for Doubling the Farmer’s Income. He was among the top 200 CEOs selected for the Prime Minister’s Champion of Change Program. He was also the part of delegation representing India in Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017.

Vignesh is tech savvy with 12 years of experience as an AWS cloud solution architect and has worked in various MNCs like Netlogistics Australia, CSS CORP, HCL & TCS. He then decided to move and kick off his own IT Service & Solutions company headquartered in the US. He spearheaded the Indian office. He has built teams from scratch for various US clients and has built products for various start-ups and companies. His expertise include AI, ML, Mobile Apps, ERPs, Enterprise & cloud applications.
Abhishek Kasana

An ambitious and passionate Engineer turned Entrepreneur. Utilizing skills, abilities, and experience gained through relevant education, projects, and work to contribute to the ongoing success of Latrics Aerospace. He has worked at National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL) where he developed the UAS simulator & tunnel-in-the-sky concept for UAVs and published an IEEE paper. He has worked as UAS Analyst in association with Airavat solution (North Carolina, US) and has started many initiatives to educate people, especially students about unmanned technology such as OpenSource Study, Drones in India, & Beyond Unmanned.
